Thank you everyone!
First and foremost we’d like to thank everyone that came to the Twisted 10th Anniversary Halloween Ball. It would have been nothing without YOU, the people that came with smiles on your faces and wonderful costumes and good vibes.
We would also like to thank all the artists (Twisted and others included) & production teams (Liquid Ross, Robin Triskele, Calve, Ralph and the rest of Inside us All, Jason & the Tribe of Frogs, & the ID Spirals) with their efforts and ideas that have made the conception of this night possible with the result of ten years of inspiration, hard work and dedication. This thankyou is not just for the people directly involved in this event, but to every person that has ever contributed anything to the movement of psychedelia. You are the ones that have supported the events like this and made their continuation possible. Thank you.
Special Thanks to Simon Posford for going above and beyond the call of duty to play for almost 5 hours in a row on his birthday. You have, as ever raised the standards of what we come to expect from an artist. Thanks also to Sean Process for covering the last minute loss of Slinky Wizard! Thanks also to Naked Nick for covering for Ott who was delivering his own baby during his set! Congratulations to Ott for the arrival of Daisy Rosa – born 6:02am on 28th October 2006 weighing 7lbs 15oz.
The party was a great success for sure but was marred with a few problems which people have highlighted to us which we would like to explain. If you are interested in what was happening behind the scenes for this event then please continue to read.
We were commited to doing the event and we gave it everything we could. We hope you all had as much fun as we did and that you will come to Twisted events in the future. Thank you all for your patience with the issues mentioned above. We want you to know that lessons have been learnt from the last two events, and we are pushing towards a really good formula for the next one. Keep your ears peeled for Shpongle Live in Concert in May 2007 and news on Shpongle 4. More details here very soon...
