HI…welcome to my page. I’m at the studio at the moment in deepest darkest north london working on the last track for my new album called “corridor of mirrors”. It’s proving to be a touch cookie to crack as i decided to do it in a 3/4 time signature which is always fun at the start but hard to maintain throughout a whole track. But it should be a goodie…pretty hard and wierd so far….lots of abstarct glitchy stuff going in and the odd little meody poking out of all the craziness!!!!
I’ve been doing the whole track on one syth so far…my korg micro synth from 1971…its a BEAST(when it works) and has no midi so i have to play it all in by hand then quantize the audio. Then its it gets regurgitated through plugins and the eventide until something cool appears….
Anyway when its finished that’ll be a rap for the album. Its eight tracks of dance floor psy wobbliness, pretty varied throughout and hopefully you’ll all like it.
Originally i was going to do some chillout tracks(i hate that word) but decided to hold them back for a new album of prometheus down beat stuff. There was an idea to do a double album but it’ll be a few months before the down beat album’s done so i rekon its best to get the trance one out and hopefully the down beat one will be done by the end of the summer….it’ll be under my prometheus monika and willi’ll post some snippets soon.
other than that i’m busy doing gigs all over the universe (new yorks next..pacha on 2nd june/06) and me and simon are halfway through the 2nd younger brother album thats sounding great so far….we’ll be starting a stint of writting together in june to get it finished this summer.
